Gillespie County A&M Club 2026 Scholarship

Gillespie County A&M Club Scholastic Scholarship & Requirements


The Gillespie County A&M Club is currently accepting applications for scholarships to be

awarded to students who will attend Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University - Galveston,

or Texas A&M University in McAllen in the fall of 2026. There are two separate applications and

processes for graduating high-school seniors and one for returning students.

 

For both scholarship opportunities, no hand-deliveries of scholarship materials will be accepted.

Application materials must be mailed with the exception of the online application. This

scholarship is only available to students who have been accepted to branch campuses or other

educational sites. Students attending other universities including Prairie View, Tarleton, West

Texas A&M, Kingsville, Corpus Christi, International University, Texarkana, Central Texas and

San Antonio are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

Application Process for Graduating High-School Seniors

This application is for graduating high school seniors in Gillespie County, Texas who are

accepted as a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, Galveston, or McAllen in the

fall of 2026. NOTE: Applicants must attend school or home school in Gillespie County to be

eligible to apply for this scholarship. If you attend high school outside of Gillespie County, then

you are not eligible to apply for the Gillespie County A&M Club Scholarship application and

should consult with the A&M Club in that county.

 

The deadline to complete the application itself and submit the required mailed materials is

March 2nd, 2026. This scholarship application will be submitted electronically using the link below.

*A copy of your acceptance letter from Texas A&M

*A copy of your official high school transcript

*A resume of high school activities - such as community service, accomplishments, awards,

etc...

*A one-page essay answering the following questions:

-What impacted your decision to attend Texas A&M University?

-What are you looking forward to the most in your decision to attend Texas A&M University?

 

Application Process for Returning Students Who Are Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree

This application is for returning students who will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station, Galveston, or McAllen in the fall of 2026 as a returning student pursuing an

undergraduate degree. This scholarship opportunity is competitive and completing the

application process does not guarantee that a scholarship will be awarded. NOTE: Applicants

must have attended and graduated from high school or home school in Gillespie County to be

eligible to apply for this scholarship. If you graduated from high school outside of Gillespie County, then you are not eligible to apply for the Gillespie County A&M Club Returning Student

Scholarship.
